These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") apply to your use of www.haircoandbeauty.co.uk (the "Website") and to any order you place with us. By accessing the Website and/or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully. If you do not accept these Terms, please do not use the Website or place an order.

2. About these Terms
You can access most areas of the Website without registering. Certain areas are available only to registered trade account holders.
We may revise these Terms at any time by updating this page. You should review this page periodically, as the current version is binding on you. Certain provisions may be supplemented by additional notices or terms shown elsewhere on the Website, including our Refund Policy, Shipping Policy and Privacy Policy, which form part of these Terms. If you do not wish to accept any revised Terms, you should stop using the Website.
3. Trade-only supplier & eligibility
Hairco and Beauty is a trade-only wholesaler supplying professional hair, beauty and barbering products to salons, barbers, mobile hairdressers and qualified industry professionals.
By placing an order you confirm that you are purchasing in the course of a business and that you are a professional, or are buying on behalf of a professional, in the hairdressing or beauty industry. We sell technical products intended for trained professionals.
If we have reason to believe an order is not for professional or business use, we may flag the order and contact you to request further information before it is processed. We reserve the right to refuse, suspend or cancel any order or account where eligibility cannot be reasonably established, or where these Terms are breached.
4. Account registration
Each registration is for a single user. You must keep your account details accurate and up to date, and you are responsible for keeping your password secure. Do not share your login with others. If you know or suspect that someone else has access to your password, contact us immediately. We may suspend or cancel your registration at our reasonable discretion, including where you breach these Terms.
5. Products & professional use
All products sold on the Website are genuine, professional products intended for use by those qualified in hairdressing and beauty, and must be used only for their intended purpose and in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. We accept no responsibility for products used or misused by untrained or unqualified persons.
Product images are for illustration only. Packaging, formulations and shade ranges may be updated by manufacturers from time to time.
6. Pricing & VAT
Product prices are shown both excluding and including VAT (for example, £8.50 ex VAT / £10.20 inc VAT), so the VAT-inclusive total is clear before checkout. VAT is charged at the prevailing rate.
Prices are reviewed and updated periodically. Where carriage, packing or other charges apply, these are shown before you complete your order. We make every effort to ensure prices are correct, but if we discover a pricing or product description error we may cancel or decline the affected order (see clause 7).
Price match: We price match major wholesalers including Salons Direct, Chris & Sons, Aston & Fincher, Salon Services and Ellisons. If you find an item cheaper elsewhere, contact us on 020 8808 1122 and we will do our best to match any wholesaler.
7. Orders & formation of contract
You place an order by completing our online checkout process. During checkout you will have the opportunity to review and correct your order. We will send you an order acknowledgement by email confirming the products ordered. This acknowledgement does not constitute acceptance of your order.
A binding contract is formed only when we dispatch your order. We may decline or refuse to accept an order:
- where goods are not available;
- where we are unable to obtain authorisation for your payment;
- where there has been a pricing or product description error; or
- where you do not meet the eligibility criteria set out in these Terms.
8. Payment
We accept all major payment methods, including Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express, PayPal and Klarna. All payments are processed securely via trusted third-party providers. You can also place an order by phone during business hours on 020 8808 1122.
9. Delivery, dispatch & stock
Orders placed before 2:00pm Monday to Friday are typically dispatched the same working day, subject to all items being in stock. Orders placed after 2:00pm, at weekends or on UK bank holidays are processed on the next working day. During busy promotional or sale periods (for example, Black Friday), or in adverse weather, dispatch may take longer.
Standard UK delivery is £5.99, or free on orders over £75, to mainland UK. Delivery timeframes are estimates and are not guaranteed unless an express or next-working-day service has been specifically arranged.
If an item is out of stock, we will contact you. You may choose to hold the whole order until the item is available, or to have the remaining items dispatched immediately with the out-of-stock item to follow in a separate delivery at no additional cost.
Full delivery details are set out in our Shipping Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
10. Returns, faulty items & cancellation
As a trade-only supplier, our sales are made on a business-to-business basis, and statutory consumer cancellation ("cooling-off") rights do not generally apply. We nonetheless operate the following returns policy:
- Returns may be requested within 14 days of receiving your order. Items must be unused, unopened, in their original condition and packaging, and suitable for resale.
- For hygiene, safety and professional-use reasons, certain products are non-returnable unless faulty — including opened or used products, used electrical items (unless faulty), perishable or hygiene-sensitive goods, and clearance or special-order items (unless faulty).
- If an item arrives damaged, faulty, missing or incorrect, please inspect your order on delivery and notify us within 48 hours, with photographs where possible. We will arrange a replacement, exchange or refund as appropriate.
- Once returned goods have been received and inspected, approved refunds are processed within 5–10 working days to the original payment method. Bank processing times may vary.
The cost of returning unwanted goods is your responsibility unless the goods are faulty, damaged or incorrect. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights. Full details are set out in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
11. Intellectual property & use of the Website
Unless otherwise stated, the copyright and other intellectual property rights in all material on the Website (including text, photographs and graphics) are owned by us or our licensors. You may print or download extracts for your own business use provided that: (a) no documents or graphics are modified; (b) no graphics are used separately from their accompanying text; and (c) our copyright and trade mark notices appear on all copies.
No part of the Website may be reproduced, stored in another website, or included in any public or private electronic retrieval system or service without our prior written permission. Any rights not expressly granted are reserved. If you breach these Terms, your permission to use the Website ends immediately and you must destroy any downloaded or printed extracts.
12. Acceptable use
Other than personal data (which is covered by our Privacy Policy), any material you post or transmit to the Website will be treated as non-confidential. You must not post or transmit any material that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, offensive, abusive, threatening, infringing of any third party's rights, or technically harmful (including viruses or other malicious code), and you must not misuse the Website (including by hacking). We will co-operate with any law enforcement authority or court order requiring us to disclose the identity of anyone posting such material.
13. Links to other websites
Links to third-party websites are provided for your convenience only. We do not control and are not responsible for the content or availability of those websites, and we do not endorse them. If you decide to access any linked third-party website, you do so at your own risk.
14. Website availability
While we aim to make the Website available at all times, we will not be liable if it is unavailable at any time or for any period. Access may be suspended temporarily and without notice in the event of system failure, maintenance, repair, or for reasons beyond our control.
15. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we (together with our group companies and our and their officers, directors, employees and agents) exclude all liability for any loss or damage — whether direct, indirect or consequential, and including any loss of profits, income, goodwill, data or business — arising from or in connection with the use of, or inability to use, the Website, any linked website, or any material on them, including loss or damage caused by viruses.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for: (i) death or personal injury caused by our negligence; (ii) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or (iii) any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law. As our customers contract with us in the course of business, our liability for the supply of goods is otherwise limited to the price paid for those goods.
16. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us, and hold us and our officers, directors, employees and agents harmless, from and against all claims, liabilities, damages, losses and reasonable costs arising out of any breach of these Terms by you, your use of the Website, or use of the Website by any other person using your registration details.
17. Data protection
We handle your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
18. Coupons & discounts
Coupon codes may not be used in conjunction with any other offer. Free delivery over our free-shipping threshold is not available while a coupon or discount is in use. Where any offer states that terms and conditions apply, please contact us for full details before purchase.
19. Events outside our control
We will not be liable for any delay or failure to perform our obligations where this is caused by events outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to supplier or courier failures, strikes, severe weather, or interruption of power or telecommunications.
20. General
You may not assign, sub-license or otherwise transfer any of your rights under these Terms. If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. A person who is not a party to these Terms has no right to enforce them under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999. These Terms, together with our Refund Policy, Shipping Policy and Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding your use of the Website.
21. Governing law & jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with English law, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. We do not warrant that products on the Website are appropriate or available for use outside the United Kingdom. If you access the Website from outside the UK, you do so at your own risk and are responsible for compliance with local laws.
