Zalon Pro London Colour Remover is the quick, gentle way to lift unwanted oxidative colour and hand your client back a clean base to work from — no bleach, no ammonia, no damage. It works by reversing the oxidation process, shrinking the artificial colour molecules so they slip out of the cuticle and rinse away. Only the synthetic colour is affected; the natural pigment is left completely untouched, returning the hair to its lightest previous natural shade.

Enriched with argan oil to add shine and condition as it works, Zalon is scentless, suitable for every hair type whatever its condition, and gentle enough that the hair can be re-coloured straightaway. A salon staple for putting colour right and starting fresh — a blank canvas in around 1 hour 15 minutes.

This single-application kit contains 3 x 50ml (Part 1, Part 2 and Part 3) — everything needed for one full colour removal.

How to use

Always work on dry, unwashed hair, and protect clothing and surfaces. We'd recommend a strand test first and following the instruction leaflet supplied with the kit.

Mix equal amounts of Part 1 and Part 2 (approximately 50ml of each) in a tint bowl, and apply to dry hair with a tint brush, working quickly and evenly through the areas to be treated.
Leave to develop for 30 minutes. Never less than 30 minutes — if removed too early the colour can re-oxidise and won't lift. The product stops working once the process is complete, so there's no harm in leaving it on a little longer.
Rinse thoroughly with warm water for 5 minutes.
Apply approximately 25ml of Part 3, lather like a shampoo, and leave for 1 minute.
Rinse with warm water for 5 minutes.
Repeat the Part 3 step once more — apply, lather, leave for 1 minute, then rinse for a further 5 minutes. The process is now complete and the hair can be coloured straightaway.

Tip: don't rush the rinsing or the Part 3 buffer stages — they're what finish the process properly and leave the hair clean and ready to re-colour.
